Andrew Mauney is a New York–based actor originally from Pittsburgh, known for playing grounded, capable men with emotional depth — the detective holding it together, the doctor under pressure, or the guy trying to do the right thing even when it costs him.
Before acting professionally, Andrew earned a degree in Management Information Systems from Miami University and briefly worked in corporate America before realizing he was far more fulfilled telling stories than sitting behind a desk. He moved to New York City to train at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), and has since worked across theater, television, and film in NYC, regionally, and on tour.
When he’s not on set or stage, Andrew works as a personal trainer and photographer, and is usually happiest anywhere involving good coffee, meaningful conversation, live music, or the outdoors.
He is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors’ Equity Association.
